(AP – Reports – 1099 Tax Form)
The 1099 Tax Form is for USA tax reporting and primarily applies to suppliers who are independent contractors. You can print this form for any supplier that has the Print 1099 checkbox selected on the Tax / Financial sub-tab on the Detail tab of the Suppliers screen.
On the selection screen, the Fed ID# field value defaults to your Tax ID Number setting from the Tax Defaults screen.
The Form Layout field enables you to specify a custom form layout for 1999 tax form printing. The standard form layout – pp1099.rtm – can be copied to another name, modified as needed, and then specified in this field.
