Scheduling is totally automated

The scheduling system is totally automated, meaning that there is no need for manual intervention with any scheduling dates but for rare exceptions.

SO dates are automatically set by item order policies and allocations

SO line required dates are automatically set to the current date when an item has a stocking order policy (Demand Driven or Manual Reorder Point) and is forward scheduled by the items Lead Days and Job Days allocations when an item has a To Order policy.

New job dates are automatically set by item allocations

New job start and finish dates are automatically scheduled backward from required dates by item Lead Days and Job Days allocations.

PO dates are automatically set by item allocations

PO line due dates are automatically scheduled backward from required dates by item Lead Days allocations.

Job dates are automatically adjusted with job release

When a job gets released to production as material becomes available from inbound jobs and POs and stock on hand, the job gets a released date and an updated finish date.

Jobs are automatically prioritized in work center queues

Each job gets a priority value based on estimated job days remaining relative to the job’s finished date.  Job sequences are listed in job priority order within work center queues so that late trending jobs are automatically expedited as needed.

Late Supply screen helps improve your customer communications

The Sales > Late Supply screen will allow you to update your expected ship date for Jobs that are running behind schedule.

Picking Manager helps ensure that you are shipping on time

The Sales > Picking Manager allocates your stock on hand in priority order to ensure that you are staying on time across all sales orders companywide.
