(File – User Email Settings)
This screen is for users who manage their own Email setup. These settings are identical to those on the Email tab in the User Setup screen, where Email setup is managed by the system administrator. If a user does not personally manage his or her Email setup, we suggest that you use password security to deny that user access to this screen.
Your company email policy will be determined by the settings in Admin > Main Setup > Email.
SMTP Authentication Setting = Company Setup in Admin > Main Setup > Email
All emails will use a single company SMTP login credential. If granted permission by your Admin, the user can provide an alternate email to the company email address.

oThis field will be a non entry field if your company policy does not allow for a company email address override at the user level.
