In this task you will optionally create Commission Codes, which combine one or more sales reps into a single code that gets assigned to customers. You can skip this task if you don’t use sales reps.

Commission codes allow users to define a team of sales reps for a given commission code. However, most customers find it more straightforward to set up a Commission Code per Sales Rep. The commission code can be used as a reporting filter in any of the Sales Data Views.
