In this task implementation team members will be given User IDs for system access.
Install the software prior to performing this task
The software must be installed before you can perform this task. If you have not already done so, install the software by following the steps and guidelines in our Installation Guide.
NOTE: System installation will be reviewed for proper setup during phase 3.

In this task you will confine user setup to implementation team members only.
All other users will be set up later
All other users will be set up much later during phase 14, Startup Day Preparation.

Modify the ADMIN user for the project manager
The Main Company is supplied with one user with a User ID of ‘ADMIN’. The ADMIN user cannot be deleted and should therefore be used as the project manager’s User ID. Modify the ‘ADMIN’ user as follows:
•Select the ‘ADMIN’ User ID in the grid and enter your First Name and Last Name in the header panel.
•Click the ResetPW and give yourself a password.
Use the Copy User button to create team member users
Admin users have complete access to all menus. Non Admin users start with all menus selected. Create a profile for a non-Admin user that has the appropriate menu access and then Use the Copy User button to create a User ID for each of the other team members by copying the project manager's User ID.
Password security permissions will be done later
Team members should have full access to the system, so there is no need to define menu security permissions at this time. Menu security permissions will be established for all users during the Startup Day Preparation phase.
Each user can select his own password
Each user can select his own password in the Change Password screen.
In this task each user will select a password for access to the system.</P><P>Show each user how to log into the system. At first, each user is given a default password of "PASS". After logging in, have the user go to the screen and change the default password to one of his or her choice.
